All Aboard Benefits Examines Travel Insurance

Posted By Admin on July 19, 2007 @ 10:43 pm

I’ve gone on a lot of trips in my life.  Most of them were outside of the country.  What I didn’t know is that my regular medical insurance doesn’t cover any of my medical expenses while I am abroad.  Recipe for disaster?  You bet.

Today I found a website that discusses the importance of travel medical insurance: AllAboardBenefits.com.

Visiting the site, I found out that travel medical insurance is just like regular health insurance, the difference being that these policies take care of you when you are outside the country.  Talk to you insurance broker about the price and coverage available.  They can cover everything from supplemental insurance (in case your health insurance does cover certain procedures abroad) to full coverage for everything from visiting a doctor down to hospitalization.

Thanks to this site, I will make the right choice when I go on holidays and get travel insurance.

Two Newer Blogs

Posted By Admin on July 16, 2007 @ 12:29 am

I found and read two newer blogs today.  They are not brand new, but rather are a few months old but are full of valuable information - I urge you to check them out.

Juicy Lie is a blog - but it is not what you would think.  By the name, I would have guessed it to be some sort of gossip blog - and it definitely is not that.  Rather, juicy lie is slang for a rare shot into the rough, where the ball is lying on the grass.  Just as the definition implies, this site is rare as well.  You don’t find too many sites with interesting, unique articles on their pages - but they are full of creative aritcles.  It is a general blog, so it covers a lot of subjects, so you should be sure to find articles that interest you.

Misty Mountain Online is a blog with a slightly different focus.  Sure, it is still a general blog.  But the writing style is different than Juicy Lie, and they state that they are writing from on top of a misty mountain… from a cabin maybe?  Most of the articles are interesting with some of them teaching you something as well.  This one is relatively new and I look forward to reading it for years to come.

CashHomeBuyers.com Caters to Buyers and Sellers

Posted By Admin on July 13, 2007 @ 2:55 am

Recently, I have been trying to sell my house in Florida.  I went over to my favorite search engine and searched for “sell your home online in Florida”.

Well, my search only turned up 22 million results – a little overwhelming.  I decided to do a quick skim of the sites available – there are some good and some bad sites.  There was one in particular that stuck out for me: CashHomeBuyers.com.

Marketed as one of those “buy ugly houses fast” sites, CashHomeBuyers.com is easy to use.  In fact, I would also describe my navigation through the site to be smooth.

What is the purpose of the site?

The purpose of the site is similar to a dating site (in the simplest sense).  Basically, they help real estate investors by offering them a place to find sellers who are motivated to sell their property.  For the seller, it helps them find someone to buy their property regardless of the real estate market conditions.

If you are an avid real estate investor, or seller, and are having problems selling their home, CashHomeBuyers.com is a site you need to see.

InsuranceTipsGuide.com - An Excellent Insurance Resource

Posted By Admin on July 8, 2007 @ 11:03 pm

I find many of the insurance websites just fill your head (and browser) with a bunch of fluff.  I just visited a few sites today, and let me say that I was a little disappointed with some of the information presented on these sites.  I found inaccurate statistics, wrong prices, and even some schemes to try and get me to sign up for an insurance policy.

There was one site that I did find valuable: InsuranceTipsGuide.com.  Their site is filled with a lot of quality information regarding insurance available in different states, where to get discount car insurance, and how to take advantage of your ability to get an online quote.

The site is designed as a blog, with new information being posted daily.  One nugget of useful information I found out is that if I raise my deductible, my insurance premiums go down for my Oklahoma car insurance.

If you need car insurance, you should point your browser to InsuranceTipsGuide.com.  Full of valuable resources, we give this site two thumbs up.

Mobiles.co.uk Sets The Standard for Mobile Phone Sites

Posted By Admin on July 6, 2007 @ 9:35 pm

Looking for a website that offers new mobile phones?  I found one that is based out of the UK called Mobiles.

Mobiles covers a large variety of phones on various networks.  You can find Motorola phones, Samsung phones, LG, Apple, Sony Ericsson, and more.  They currently cover the following phone networks: 3, O2, Orange, T-Mobile, and Vodafone.

Signing up is simple: pick you phone, and then pick your network.

I decided to try the site out.  I clicked on the Motorizr Z8 phone and was whisked away to the information page.  I could find the features, description and available accessories all at one mouse click away.  You can pick the network you wish to join and pick the features you want your plan to have such as text messaging, photo bundles and data bundles.  I was also able to choose a free gift after signing up for a eighteen month contract – that was cool.

This ends up being the nicest mobile phone site I have seen yet.  Be sure to check them out.

Ford Mustang Website

Posted By Admin on July 3, 2007 @ 12:25 pm

I had the opportunity today to visit and excellent website dedicated to Ford Mustangs.  The site’s name is ModdedMustangs.com.

The site is dedicated to those who love Ford Mustangs.  How can you not?  A Mustang is a pure muscle car built for power and speed.  As I was looking around the website, I took a look in the Ford Mustang forum.  You could find parts and cars for sale, and ask questions relating to modding your Mustang.  I did post a couple of questions and people seemed very happy to help out.

I went back to the main website and poked around a little more.  I found some Ford Mustang wallpaper that I quickly put on my desktop.  Man does it look sweet!

There is also a section dedicated to Ford Mustang racing that details upcoming races, and the cars that will be participating on the racing circuit.

This is a well assembled site.  If you are interested in the Ford Mustang, this site is for you.

Free Online Children’s Activities

Posted By Admin on July 2, 2007 @ 1:01 pm

If your kids are like mine, they are always doing something.  Whether it be playing outside, inside, coloring, reading, or the other activities they enjoy, there is never a dull moment.  When it comes to using the computer and going on the internet you have to be a little careful - there are sites out there you just don’t want your child to visit.

On the other hand, there are numerous good websites with children’s activities that I don’t mind my children to visit.  One of my favorite sites is thedollpalace.com.

The site is geared towards younger children who love playing dress up games with their toy dolls.  Instead of you having to spend a lot of money on clothes and accessories for their real-life dolls, you can let them play with the cartoon dolls online and it costs you nothing.  But this free website gives your children hours upon hours of enjoyment, as well as you will get a laugh when you see the doll they make that looks like you… (trust me, it is really funny).

Should your children not be interested in dolls, or get tired of that section, the site also has coloring pages for your child to color.  They can color the pictures online in your web browser, or you can print them off so that they can color them at the table.  There is a large selection of pages to choose from, giving your child ample opportunity to practice their coloring skills.

So parents, add thedollpalace.com to your favorite children’s websites - I know I have - and watch your children’s creativity grow.

If you live in Honolulu or you are thinking about moving to Hawaii and you need to secure a great deal on a mortgage loan, then your best opportunity to get a low rate is to compare 3 or 4 lenders quotes. Shopping for a mortgage loan can be very complex.  We found that there are a number of sites that offer comparison shopping and used a service offered by LoanNetwork.com where they actually had lenders contact us with there mortgage quotes. It was super easy to shop for a mortgage and helped us save a ton of time in trying to compare offers. Comparing refinance and purchase home loans for closing costs, interest rates and programs has never been easier. The site offers free mortgage calculators, a forum to ask their expert response team and offers mortgage loan quotes for all 50 states including: Hawaii Mortgage loans, second mortgages, equity loans, interest only and deferred interest mortgage programs.

Cayman Mama - Cayman Island News Website

Posted By Admin on July 1, 2007 @ 4:43 pm

In my quest for finding new websites, I came across a website that I have never seen before.  In fact, it is a type of site that I have never looked at before.

Cayman Mama is the self proclaimed mother of all Cayman News engines.  You can find information on virtually anything that you are looking for related to the Cayman Islands including restaurants, real estate, weddings, condo rentals, etc.  The layout of the site is simplistic with the intention for the user to easily navigate the pages.

In fact, mentioning the layout, the one thing you will find different on this site is no images.  For those of you still using dial-up internet, no images is a blessing - in your case the pages will load very quickly.

The informative articles on the site are an easy read.  I was particularly drawn to the articles about Cayman Weddings - perhaps my fiancee and I will tie the knot there.

So, my suggestion is that you should check them out if you would like to know anything about the Cayman Islands - they have some terrific unique resources found nowhere else on the net.
