My future step son got a play station portable last holiday and hasn’t put it down since. I even played it and have to admit it is pretty fun to play. One of the best features is that it offers wi-fi access to the Internet too so on a trip, I can check in using it, rather than my laptop if I need to.
I’ve seen offers for a free PSP and and free accessories by joining a site and responding to offers. I wasn’t sure if they were legitimate though and have done some research on line to find out. It appears that several sites are legitimate but you do have to either fill out information for offers or participate in some way in order to get the free stuff.
I’d love to get a PSP for myself. Shh, don’t tell my kids, they’ll laugh. I enjoy playing some of the games also but I’m not very good. Of course, my step son is the best. He can beat nearly anyone he plays against.
I remember vividly when 800 numbers came into mainstream use. My uncle John was stationed in Hawaii with his family, and I wanted to go visit them in the worst way. Well, okay. I didn’t want to see them as much as I wanted to visit Hawaii. When they were stationed in Germany I wanted to visit them there, too, but that wasn’t going to happen, and I had no way to research airfare efficiently. I had to mail the various airlines and ask for a booklet they published periodically with schedules and airfares.
With the advent of toll free numbers, I availed myself of directory assistance to get the airlines’ contact information. This was 1967, the year I graduated from high school. The rest of my family had little to do with the phone. They didn’t seem to see the potential for gathering information that I did. And I’m still at it, gathering information, only now I do that on the Internet.
I never did get to visit my Aunt Rosie and Uncle John, but I gained a lot of confidence contacting customer service reps and airline travel agents. And that kind of experience went on to shape the person I have become. I’m not afraid to talk to anyone — well, except my Aunt Jane. Don’t even want to go there…
There’s a reason that properties, whether houses, commercial buildings or strictly land investment venues are called “real” estate. Not only are they tangible, but there is only so much land to go around in any given area of the world.
So real estate investments are, generally speaking, the best of all investments if you shop wisely and buy prudently. First, there will not likely be more land created, although some cities have tried by building islands or peninsulas in places like Florida’s coastal regions.
Think of it this way, land a simple matter of supply and demand. Whether you are living in Canada, in the USA or in the UK land is still an excellent investment.
So the next time you see a sign that says land for sale, remember that some day that land will double or triple in value. Look at Orlando, Florida. Walt Disney bought 27,400 acres of essentially swamp land that land owners were only too eager to unload, and from his vision, Walt Disney World remade the entire face of the region.
Hey guys, listen up! If you upgrade your car, your computer, your software, your home appliances, your power tools, why in the world wouldn’t you consider upgrading your wife’s wedding ring come anniversary time?
This is not the time to get her that brushed stainless steel refrigerator or the cook top that has a button which will cause water to boil in and incredible 90 seconds. Neither does she want a riding mower, vacuum cleaner (even if it is a Dyson), a watch (unless it has diamonds), or anything one would call “practical.”
Even if your wife is practical, once in awhile you need to treat her with something deliciously impractical (as long as you’re not jeopardizing next month’s house payment or your kids’ college educations.
Do yourself a favor and spend some time searching online for wedding bands, rings in diamond or anniversary rings in diamond, and get her something special. But be sure to clear your browser cache. You don’t want her accidentally see you’ve been searching for diamonds. She might misunderstand…
I am happy to say that I don’t really go out shopping very much. Honestly, it really isn’t my favorite pass time, but sometimes you just have to go. For example, earlier today, my wife and I went to the mall to go do some shopping.
Now, we did need a few groceries, but honestly, we didn’t need much else. But she loves to window shop, so I knew that we were going to be spending at least a couple of hours there.
We looked through many stores, browsed through a baby gifts store, some clothing stores, and she even humored me and let me look in a video game store.
We really didn’t spend much money (except on the groceries), but it was a nice chance for us to talk without the constant chattering of our children. Yes, the day at the mall was fun - though I still don’t really like to shop.
My best friend and I live in different states, but we talk to each other every day on the phone. She recently bought a new car and somehow the topic of auto insurance came up. I was stunned when I found out what she was paying. My car insurance was more than twice what she was paying and my car was over eight years old. This did not make sense to me and I wondered how it could be so different just because she lived in a different state than I did.
I decided that I was going to call around and get some different auto insurance quotes, to see if it really was about location. I found out that I was being completely ripped off and I ended up saving a ton of money by switching to the same company that she was using. I guess it pays to compare before buying.
We are planning a wedding and the stag party is quickly approaching. I knew that the boys would want to go out and party, maybe see a few strip clubs, or even take in a show somewhere but I wanted them to do it safely.
So, my gift to my future husband is a limo hire and boy are they going to be surprised! They won’t be getting just your average run of the mill limo, they are getting a Hummer! Although I considered hiring the stretch Dodge Ram or the bright pink PT Cruiser that the company also has, hummer limos seem to be the “in thing” now and I didn’t want to embarrass the guys too much.
This way I know that no matter how much they drink or what kind of trouble they try to get into, the limousine hire will be able to drive them all home safely.
Someone asked on Twitter the other day how it is that June bugs know exactly when June 1st occurs. He said those hard shelled, reddish brown beetles or whatever species they are, started dive-bombing his front porch right after midnight on June 1.
For that matter, how do cicadas know it’s been 17 years and that it’s time for them to wake up and start making all that racket? The year before my daughter was born was the year of the cicada in Maryland. I’d never been around anyplace that had that many of them. When I was a kid the so called “locusts” came and went, but out where we lived, there weren’t that many. I never really learned why.
But in Maryland, hard-shelled bodies emerged from finger-sized holes in the ground, and attached themselves to anything that stood still long enough for them to climb up and molt, or whatever you call shedding their shell. They emerged, brilliantly colored, (some of them oddly deformed), and the males made their way to the towering oaks in the backyards of our neighborhood. There each sang for a bride, and the circle of life moved on.
How do June bugs and cicadas know when it’s time to come out and play? I guess it’s written into their genetic code. I can’t explain it any other way.
If you blog for business you need to be aware of a consistent posting schedule if you want good MLM lead generation. Having a schedule set that your readers can expect to see more information from you will eventually lead to MLM success for you if you are trying to build your business through your blog.
Blogging for profit is far from new and many, if not most, are blogging for that reason alone. Blogs seem to get picked up faster than almost anything else put on the Internet and as long as you have good, valuable and factual information, you’ll do well in the rankings too.
Blogs are great ways to share your own information as well as the information about your company of choice and many people want to hear real stories from real people when it comes to choosing an MLM business to join forces with.
Keep it real, and they will follow.
Wouldn’t it have been great to have had the opportunity to bet on some of the greatest race horses in history? For anyone with good racing tips, a fortune could have been made for certain.
One horse, Eclipse, won 18 strait races and was retired because no one would race him and betting wouldn’t happen since no one would want to bet against him!
Anyone with good horse racing tips has a better chance of making money at the races but not everyone has the chance to get in on a winning streak like that one.
Even a good horse racing tipster wouldn’t take that bet on after a few races because there would be no one to bet against and raise the purse. While that kind of record is rare, there have been several other great horses over the years such as St. Simon who not only won races, but sired nine other champion racers!
