Travelling By Train – Where Would You Like To Go?

When it comes to travelling from one point to another, doing so by train really is a special way of making the journey; it’s not just another way of getting to your final destination. Oftentimes travelling by train feels so different to any other form of travel that when the journey actually ends you can feel a trifle disappointed. The fact that the UK is now connected to the rest of the European network means that the journeys available to us offer a multitude of possibilities. So what destination tickles your fancy if going by train?

How about hopping over to France and visiting Paris? Making this journey today only takes about three hours once the train has been boarded at Waterloo in London. Of course, this journey now includes a trip under the English Channel in trains that are so comfortable it is hard to believe. Who wants all the stress of travelling by plane when you can do it almost as fast by rail? You only have to consider the time it takes to get to an airport, and then all the waiting around involved to realise that making the journey by train makes so much more sense. As well as this, most train stations can be found in easily accessible locations in all major city centres.

This is not to say the rest of Europe doesn’t have any nice locations to go to, it’s just Paris is an extremely popular destination. And once someone has arrived in Europe, the possibilities are endless when it comes to European rail travel, and its only your time that will limit where you can go. Europe doesn’t have to be your final stop either? The Trans-Siberian Express allows for travel to Russia and beyond. From there you might want to travel even further by hopping on the Orient Express. When it boils down to it, your imagination is the only thing that can hold you back when it comes to rail travel.

Tickets for the Eurotunnel, London and England (billet eurotunnel) are vital for your trip to the UK (voyage angleterre). As well as this, you want to be thinking about your English hotel stay (h´tel angleterre)
