One of the biggest challenges for me when I was on my own was to figure out which cheap auto insurance company to go with. I had never bought car insurance before in my life, and with little experience (okay no experience) in the matter, I didn’t know what to do.
I decided to check out forums to see what other people were getting for a cheap car insurance rate and that helped me out a little. Part of the difficulty was trying to find someone that had the same type of car that I had and lived in a similar region of the country. It took a little doing, but I finally figured out what to do.
I was almost sure I knew what I was doing until I read a post about classic car insurance. That confused me until I learned that it was for classic cars - something that I didn’t own.
I hate to think what I would have done if it were not for the Internet - I guess I just would have got insurance at the first place I found and spent more than I needed to.
I am looking into getting one of those custom license plates. I am not sure how to go about it and I know that I need it to say something different than anyone else already has. I am not sure if you have to pay per character or if you just pay one fee for the plate. I guess I need to ask my automobile insurance salesperson. I am sure that they would know.
I have had my license for over three years and now I am finally going to get a car. Dad said he would allow me to buy one if I passed his test on safety signs. It is not enough for him that I totally passed my drivers test the first time. I guess he doesn’t think I proved myself then. I have to prove myself to him as well.
I did pass his test, though, and he said he was proud of me. Finally! He gave me some custom decals to put on my car because he said I had earned them. It would have been just fine with me if he would have kept his decals and given me money to buy a car. I won’t complain, though, because in a few days, I will have a car and life will never be the same again.
I have a nice Mustang convertible that I love driving in summer. I call it my baby, and I take care of that car as if it was my most prized possession - and it is. Except for when I am using my motor cycle, the Mustang is all I drive during the summer.
But where I live, it is winter for just about half of the year. With all the salt that they put on the roads out here, I didn’t want to drive my car around, for fear that it would rust quicker than it should. So a couple of years ago, I decided that I should go shopping for one of those car covers to protect my car.
You would think that picking out a car cover would be easy, but with the many options available, I had a little difficulty deciding. I actually had an easier time choosing one out of the many motorcycle covers at the store.
Eventually, I picked out one out the many budge car covers they had in stock. Now, when the winter comes around, I know that my car and motorcycle are protected from the elements and salt while they are stored.
You can find many sites on the internet dedicated to cars. Most of these are dedicated to the average run of the mill cars that most of us drive. There are also some websites that are interested in cool cars such as the ones used in F1 racing or NASCAR. And then there are sites that are a little more unique that deal with supercars – expensive but road racing ready.
One such site I came across today is CoolSuperCars.com. Full of quality information on cars such as the McLaren F1, Bugatti Veyron, Lucus Plethore, and more, you can find some extremely amazing pieces of mechanical engineering. Did you know that the McLaren F1 can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds? I didn’t till today. Did you know that you can get the Rossion Q1 for under $100,000? I didn’t either.
Reading the articles on the site, you can tell that the owner is very passionate about super cars. It is also updated very often, so that there is always something new to read. Check them out: CoolSuperCars.com.
I had the opportunity today to visit and excellent website dedicated to Ford Mustangs. The site’s name is ModdedMustangs.com.
The site is dedicated to those who love Ford Mustangs. How can you not? A Mustang is a pure muscle car built for power and speed. As I was looking around the website, I took a look in the Ford Mustang forum. You could find parts and cars for sale, and ask questions relating to modding your Mustang. I did post a couple of questions and people seemed very happy to help out.
I went back to the main website and poked around a little more. I found some Ford Mustang wallpaper that I quickly put on my desktop. Man does it look sweet!
There is also a section dedicated to Ford Mustang racing that details upcoming races, and the cars that will be participating on the racing circuit.
This is a well assembled site. If you are interested in the Ford Mustang, this site is for you.
