Play World of Warcraft For Free

Its common knowledge that World of Warcraft is quite possibly one of the most popular MMORPGs on the market right now. Millions of members are subscribed to the monthly subscription of $15.00 a month. However, there are a lot of people that rather not pay $15.00 a month to play the game on retail servers. Thus, many World of Warcraft gamers embark on a journey to find ways to play WoW for free.

What they usually do is find a private server where they can play for free. But of course there are some downsides to playing on free private servers. From my experience there are a lot of private servers out there that reward people for donations. Such rewards can really make the game play lopsided for donators and non-donators. For instance if someone donates a certain amount of money to the server, they will be rewarded with unique armor that can only be attained through donations. So essentially, you are buying powerful items in game with real money. How fair is that?

I knew I had to go back to paying my monthly fee to Blizzard in order to play on quality servers. So I asked myself the ultimate question ” How am I going to find the money to pay for it? Well it took some digging around but I did find an awesome way to pay my $15.00 monthly fee among others things!

I play on retail World of Warcraft servers for free now. Ive done my research online and found some great ways to make money for free. I then use the income Ive accumulated towards playing World of Warcraft for free. No more of the ridiculous private server nonsense.

So to sum up, if you fall into my category and need some help making money so that you can not only pay for your World of Warcraft subscription, but anything else you want, you can search for online opportunities. There are certainly legitimate, scam-free ways to earn money online. Im proof of this. Ive written an extensive review about it on my website so feel free and read it.

Airsoft Gaming Rules

Posted By MJ Erwin on @ 3:33 pm
by MJ Erwin

There are six primary rules that must be followed in any airsoft games.

If the gear or body is hit, the player is out. Hits to the weapon do not count. When the player is hit, he yells out “I’m hit” and raises his arms up high. After hit the player must walk straight to the safe zone. Friendly fire does count as a hit. After hit, talking to other players is not allowed.

Unlike in paintball, no noticeable markings are left by the pellets, honour system is often used to determine a hit. The pellet’s impact usually is felt, but at times, when over a great distance, or when the player is distracted or moving, the player may not notice being hit, thus marshals or referees are needed in the game.

The major forms of airsoft games are:

Team Death Match. Two teams play to eliminate each other out. Players must keep track of the number of their kills. At the end of the game, teams must combine the number of their kills and whoever got the most wins.

Capture the Flag. Teams must retrieve their opponent’s flag. Whichever team manages to bring the opposing team’s flag to their base wins.

Assassination. Two teams must select a captain. The captain is tied to an immobile object such as trees or fence. The aim of the game is to eliminate the other team’s captain.

King of the Hill. One team will be defending the hill, while the other the attacks it. The game ends when the base is successfully defended, or if the attackers overcome the hill.

In these games, the players may use their own airsoft guns, magazines and armours and other equipments, but there are also instances when the type of gun to be used is provided. These guns fire non-lethal bullets either through compressed gas, spring or electric means.

Spring-powered guns operate by pulling back back the slide (pistols), bolt (rifles), or the grip on a shotgun, which in turn compresses the spring and makes the gun ready to fire a single shot. One of the major advantages of using this type is that it can be fired without depending on an external source of power, unlike the gas and electric models.

Electric guns come in many forms such as automatic and hybrid guns types. Electric-powered guns work using a rechargeable battery, driving internal motors to shoot a pellet.

Gas-powered guns, or the classic airsoft guns, use a direct flow of C02 gas to power the gun’s mechanism, allowing the gun to fire in a fully automatic mode.

M4A1 Airsoft : A top choice for Airsoft Gamers

Posted By James Erwin on @ 3:14 pm
by James Erwin

Airsoft guns are modeled after real firearms. Manufacturers go to great lengths to achieve this realistic look and feel, from the gun dimensions to its external markings. Other manufacturers, such as Colt, which owns the rights to the M4 carbine, do not allow airsoft companies to use their name or markings. Airsoft guns can be divided into three distinct groups that are determined simply by how they are powered.

Spring models are airsoft guns that require you to pump or cock the weapon every time you fire it. The spring version is usually made of plastic and can fire from 150 to 350 fps depending on the spring design and the BB weight.

Gas airsoft guns are often used only once a round and are usually saved as a side arm or secondary weapon. The gas or C02 usually only lasts through the duration of the clip and a lot of the time your shots will not be consistent.

Electric airsoft guns are more powerful and usually the most accurate. Many electric guns come with a hop up system that allows you to lay down a consistent line of fire until your clip runs out. These high-grade AEG’s are usually made of metal, can fire upward of 450 FPS and are designed to perform under harsh conditions.

US Special Forces groups and the US Army Ranger Regiment use a carbine version of the M16A2 known as the M4 Carbine. The M4 has a shorter barrel and a collapsible stock for a noticeably more compact profile.

The M4A1 is a compact lightweight version of the M4 Carbine that features a detachable carry handle and flat top rail system for mounting accessories. The M4A1 Carbine is capable of full-auto fire.

The M4A2 is similar to the M4A1 but has a fixed carrying handle and is capable of safe/semi-auto/3-round-burst firing modes.

M4 MWS (Modular Weapon System). Colt Model 925 carbines were tested fitted with the Knight’s Armament Corporation (KAC) M4 RAS under the designation M4E2, but this designation appears to have been scrapped in favor of mounting this system to existing carbines without changing the designation.

The M4A4 is almost identical to the M4A1 except it utilizes a safe/semi-auto/3-round-burst firing mode instead of the A1′s safe/semi-auto/full-auto.

The RIS in the M4RIS stands for Rail Interface System and is used to accommodate the SOPMOD Kit (Special Operations Peculiar Modification). The SOPMOD kit consists of a 4 X Day Scope, a Reflex Sight, a Visible Laser, an Infrared Pointer / Illuminator, a Visible Light, Backup Iron Sights, and a Forward Hand Grip.

Naxxramas Guide to Success

Posted By Christopher Black on @ 5:18 am
by Christopher Black

From the waste of Eastern Plagueland Naxxramas waited for brave warriors in pre-BC to challenge the 40 man communication terror. I don’t know what was harder. The raid or trying to focus people to finish the raid. Pug Naxx probably would not have worked back in the day, but Naxx has changed location to Dragonblight. Now hosting 10 and 25 man raids. Don’t be fooled by the change in numbers in the raid Naxx is still a challenge to the seasoned raider.

Mount up and fly for the sky, Naxxramas will be your gate to the raiding world. I will be the first to dub Naxx as the Karazhan of WoLK. In order to save some gold on those pesky repair bills, I will lead give you a Naxxramas Guide.

First things first the prerequisites of making a group for Naxx. Unlike Karazhan where you may be able to get away with less healers, you should have around 3 decent healers (which specs I will describe later). Just for the sakes that a lot of things will be hitting you and its easier to deal with it. Next you will need 2 tanks and the rest obviously dps. The key to a successful and happy group is diversity. Try not to have multiple classes. Its better for different raid skills and when the lewt drops there will be no complaining or fighting over gear.

The only notes that are different for the 25 man raids is that you have 25 people instead of 10. Most bosses will have adds with them and you will notice a significant amount of heath boost which is quite obvious. Other then that mastering the 10 man will ensure you and your group will strategically be ready for 25 mans.

When choosing healers the requirements will vary depending on how many healers you have. I would suggest at minimum 1200 spellpower and 250 mp5 (3 healers). If you want to be totally safe 1700 spellpower will do it. You will be getting people trapped, attacked, entangled, targeted, the whole nine so being able to have big heals fast is the name of the game in Naxx. I would say that healers are the most important aspect of a raid group heading to Naxx.

For tanks 20k unbuffed HP, 20K armor, 540 defense (they will be crit immune), and around 40-45% avoidance. Reason being that some, Maexxna *cough cough*, bosses will pack quite a punch. Tanks will be your second most important member of your raid.

Finishing with dps classes, melee 9% hit, puts out 1.5K, caster 17% hit, puts out 1.5K. Once again to be safe I recommend having the dps be 2K+. Dps are the least important in raids for one reason, all they determine is how fast the boss goes down. Unless your trying to beat an enrage timer dps could take their jolly time.

What are you waiting for? Go out there and conquer Naxx and the nasty Scrouge! If you still want some Naxxramas Guides (which will save you major gold in repairs) please visit wowcollege.com.

AK-47 : For Airsoft Gaming

Posted By MJ Erwin on February 23, 2009 @ 5:45 am

Airsoft guns can be categorized into three distinct groups that are determined by how they are powered. Gas, electric and spring powered weapons are the most common and all have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Spring-powered are airsoft guns that require you to pump or cock the weapon every time you fire it. They are very dependable during close ranged combats. The spring version is usually made of plastic and can fire from 150 to 350 FPS depending on the design and the BB weight.

Gas airsoft guns are often used only once a round and are usually saved as a side arm or an assist weapon. Automatic gas guns tend to be “pellet hoses” in which ammunition is sprayed all over the place without any accuracy or consistency.

Electric airsoft guns are more powerful and usually the most accurate. Many electric guns come with a hop up system that allows you to lay down a consistent accurate line of fire until your clip runs out. Batteries usually take 5 to 8 hours to charge the first time but any time after 3 to 5 hours would suffice. These high-grade AEG’s are usually made of metal, can fire upward of 450 FPS and are designed to perform under harsh conditions.

Airsoft guns are fashioned after real firearms. Companies go to great lengths to achieve this realistic look and feel, from the gun measurements to its external markings. The AK-47 is a very effective weapon with great power, has a very high rate of fire, and comes at a very sensible price. Simple to control, clean and repair, and having 290 FPS with 70-round ammo capacity for standard mags and 600-round for high-capacity mags, getting into the game with AK-47 is enough you the better part of the day.

AK-47 1948-51, 7.62x39mm – The very earliest models, with the Type 1 stamped sheet metal receiver, are now very rare.

AK-47 1952, 7.62x39mm – Has a milled receiver and wooden butt stock and hand guard. Barrel and chamber are chrome plated to resist corrosion. Rifle weight is 4.2 kg (9.3 lb).

AKS-47 – Features a downward-folding metal stock similar to that of the German MP40, for use in the restricted space in the BMP infantry combat vehicle, as well as by paratroops.

Repair Xbox 360 error: How to Repair Xbox 360 Immediately at Home

Posted By Brian Prince on February 22, 2009 @ 5:15 am
by Brian Prince

Are you determined to quickly troubleshoot your Xbox 360? The E74 error message is most probably familiar to you if you’re an avid Xbox360 fanatic. Once this error message has appeared, you are now facing the red ring of death problem. This is also termed as RROD by Xbox 360 specialists. A more profound explanation of the problem is necessary in order to appropriately diagnose and repair your Xbox360.

In 2008, Microsoft released a statement saying that most of the consoles on the market will have a risk of failure at some stage. Users should then expect to experience the red ring of death and should even prepare for it.

When you have the E74 error, you should quickly find what to do to fix the problem. If you don’t, your Xbox 360 system may get worse and you won’t be able to use your consoles without freezing issues and losing level progress.

When constructing the Xbox360, Microsoft engineers misjudged the size of the heat sinks, which absorb the heat and make your Xbox cool, and design it too big in an attempt to fit the DVD drive.

Now the problem occurs when you play with your unit for an extended period of time. There is a notable increase in temperature within the case making the connection to the motherboard loose. In order to warn gamers of the Xbox 360′s impending doom, the red ring of death error appears on the power button.

You don’t have to be afraid when you see the red ring of death error because technical skills are really not needed to repair Xbox 360. Using a repair Xbox 360 guide will aid you in troubleshooting your console.

There is no need for you to ship your unit to its manufacturer, Microsoft, when you use a repair guide. By repairing your own Xbox 360, you save time and money.

The use of repair Xbox 360 guide is a wise decision because even experts in the game industry have been using this for many years. The Graphics Processing Unit has to be opened to check the problem. Opening it is easy if you’ll carefully follow the video instructions provided in the repair guide but you have to make sure that you do it accordingly to avoid damaging the system. In a matter of two hours, your Xbox will be fixed.

Repair Xbox 360: How to Repair Xbox 360 red ring of death fast

Posted By Christopher Brown on February 20, 2009 @ 7:04 pm
by Christopher Brown

Do you intend to fix the Xbox360 red ring of death? It is difficult to establish what has caused the error, especially if you have never seen it before.

Here are a few tips you can use to repair your Xbox:

Firstly, do you know when your Xbox started showing the red lights? Looking into the cause of the error is the first thing you should do. It is very common to tell the type of error you are encountering just from the number of red lights flashing on your console.

In most cases, if you see 1, 2 or 3 red lights, it means that your console is overheating. That’s what experts called the Red Ring of Death. You should turn off your Xbox immediately to avoid further damage. From there you have several options:

You can either send you console to Microsoft to have it checked but you are not even guaranteed that it is fixable and it can take them up to 8 weeks. Plus, if it’s out of warranty, you will end up throwing $140.

If you are very skillful, you can have a go at repairing your system yourself. This can be a very risky situation since you might involuntarily cause further damage if you are not doing the right thing.

The option most Xbox360 gamers have opted for is downloading a video repair guide to help them go through the process of fixing their cooling device. Many guides come with video tutorials very easy to understand even for inexperienced gamers.

Most of the new gamers who have tried that option have saved a lot of money and managed to resume their gaming activities in less than 2 hours. It is definitely worth a try!

Parenting and Video Games

Posted By Twyla on December 7, 2007 @ 3:17 pm

My son received a Nintendo Wii for his birthday.  It was a very big decision for us, as we didn’t want him spending hours in front of the television set.  But, we gave in and got him one, setting a lot of ground rules for the use of the machine.

He likes to look online to find Wii accessories and games and I have to admit that he has been pretty responsible since receiving the machine.  I also like to look online at reviews of Wii games.  It makes me feel more in control of what he is playing and also allows me to screen what he is playing.

My nephew owns an Xbox 360 and his mother is quite strict with his machine as well.  The Xbox 360 games can be reviewed online as well and it makes me feel as though we are doing our jobs as mothers – we are monitoring what are boys are exposed to.

Birthday Present for My Brother

Posted By Admin on @ 12:46 pm

My brother just recently turned the big 27 and I needed to get him something for a present.  He had expressed interest in World of Warcraft (WOW) one time when he saw me playing it.  He suggested that if he had an account we could play together and that became the moment that helped me pick out his present.

I took a look online to find a place that I could buy WOW accounts – I wanted him to be around the same point in the game as myself, so that we could play together.  I figured too that a little WOW gold wouldn’t hurt either, so I bought him some of that as well.

Seeing that he would be starting later on in the game with me, I figured he might be a little lost.  I knew of a few WOW guides that would fill him in on what he missed and give him some tips and strategies in terms of how he should play, so I bought some of them as well.

I will be giving him his present tomorrow – and I am sure he will like it.  Funny thing is, I don’t think his girl friend will like it – I am sure she will have a hard time getting him away from the computer.
